A challenging, and exceptional experience awaits you at DeerCreek Village Golf Club, located on the southern foothills of western Colorado’s Grand Mesa in the artisan and growing retirement community of Cedaredge, Colorado. Situated on 90 view filled acres, DeerCreek Village has been the local’s choice for great golf since its debut in 1991. Services such as the fully stocked Pro Shop; Driving Range; Golf Instruction and Clinics, coupled with the fine dining provided by Berardi’s at DeerCreek, make DeerCreek Village Golf Club a golfing tradition to be enjoyed again and again.
With two distinct nines and four sets of tees, the golf course stretches from 5100 to 6450 yards, allowing golfers of any ability to test their skills. The front nine plays through the housing developments of Stonebridge and Stonegate at DeerCreek, as well as the original DeerCreek Village. Deer Creek adds to the experience and provides unique features as it meanders through the front nine adding to the challenge with water coming into play on eight holes. The back nine features elevated tees, narrow fairways, and sloping greens as it climbs its way up to 6100 feet and the spectacular views from the 18th tee. Many matches have been decided by the demanding tee shot and difficult approach of this 405 yard finishing hole.
In an era of escalating green fees, we are committed to an affordable, enjoyable golfing experience, and our atmosphere, camaraderie, and service reflect it. When you arrive you’ll know you’ve found something special, and when you leave you’ll remember the finest Golf Club in western Colorado. |

Voted the "Seond
Best New Affordable" Golf Course, in 2002 by Golf Digest, Devil's Thumb Golf Club in Delta, Colorado, has an interesting blend of styles. The characteristics of the site are truly unique to any golf course in Colorado. The course has been described as a "desert style" golf course or a "prairie style" course and in many ways it is both.
The course is designed to provide ample challenge to all golfers. It will play anywhere from 5100 to 7100 yards in length with five sets of markers to allow all players to be challenged without undue punishment. The greens are modestly sloped, for the most part, with an occasional bold grade change to respond to the surrounding topography or the strategy of the hole.
The golf course was designed with strategic thinking as the highest priority for the golfer. There are multiple options for shot execution on every hole; some are obvious, while others are quite subtle. The wind will certainly play a large role in the shot selection of most golfers on this wide-open layout. The ability to execute a wide range of shot types, from a low running shot, to a high, soft spinner will be what separates the best golfers from the rest of the field on this track.
