The City of Murals, Delta, features 12 murals and numerous sculptures on Main St. and in parks. Featuring art from local artists such as, Tracy Munson, Ginny Allen, Connie Williams and Dick Doherty the residents of Delta appreciate art and have made it a community project to support art in public places.

Stop in the Appleshed Art Complex in Cedaredge for a gallery tour, and while in Cedaredge visit Munson's Main Street Gallery or any of the curiously divine antique shops.

Eckert, a small blink of an eye on Hwy 65, will surprise you with the wonderful collection of art, photography, pottery and mixed media. Sip a glass of wine in the tasting room there as you browse.

The North Fork Bluegrass Festival will feature artists from all around the region. They will come together to play concerts and jam with each other. We, the audience, will thrill to impromptu performances and the traditional laid back approach these musicians take to their craft. Hotchkiss features the Birds of a Feather Gallery, a collection of unique art and approaches. Be sure to check out the feathers, you will be amazed at the high quality and beautifully executed work.

Render the Rock art contest and auction brings many talented individuals to the area to try their hand at rendering the Needle Rock. Pieces will be created in a number of mediums and then auctioned off for the benefit of the Crawford Library.

Cedaredge Jamboree is an on-going musical jam session going on throughout the summer. Local talent join together for some real toe-tapping fun for the audience and play for the musicians. Cedaredge is also home to Starr's Guitars. If you love guitars, you will love Starr's. The galleries in Cedaredge offer works from around the region and around the world. The collections are surprisingly rich.

The Crawford Glass Studio is in full operation and producing a beautiful line of hand-blown glass. On-lookers may watch as this ancient craft is demonstrated before their eyes. Using techniques developed in Sweden and combining a few of their own, the Dahlbergs talent is immediately evident in the reflective beauty they create.

Blue Sage Theater in Paonia is one of the Western Slopes only community performing art studios. Nationally known artists are frequently featured. Offering very unique opportunities for the people of the valley to experience a variety of art styles, the Blue Sage Theater is well loved in Paonia.

Warehouse Playhouse also in Paonia, is a newly formed stage performance venues. The first Tuesday of every month the Playhouse offers Improv night or an original play reading. Featuring such plays at "Radio T.B.S. (Trailer Broadcasting Scandals)," "Arsenic & Old Lace," and the always popular, Annual Cherry Days Melodrama. When you are in town be sure to check their schedule. You may just catch a real treat.
