6/9-12 — North Fork Jam Camp
The Pennsylvania band THE HICKORY PROJECT will be on hand to instruct
attendees in banjo, mandolin, fiddle, guitar and stand-up bass. The
band has toured internationally for years and includes Winfield champ
Anthony Hannigan on mandolin and Florida State Fiddle Champion Sue
Cunningham. Also instructing will be CHELE'S KITCHEN from Washington
and local favorites, THE METAMOOCIL MOUNTAIN BOYS. Beginner to advanced
instruction is available and will cover Bluegrass, Blues, and Folk
styles in a fun, no- pressure environment. The four days of fun will
be located in the lush and shady Delta County Fairgrounds Park and
includes individual and small group instruction, concerts and other
more. It's a great opportunity to meet new pickers and make new friends.
